You may have heard that Derby College is proposing that the TUC programme currently offered by the Derby Trade Union Education Centre would no longer be available from the end of this academic year (July).

Currently, the TUC regionally, UCU and UNISON (as the unions representing the Centre’s staff), a number of other Unions and individuals are making representations to the College to make sure that Trade Union Education continues to be offered in to the future. If you want to play your part, please e mail us a message of support to the general e mail address for the Centre on this site.

The Centre is still promoting its courses for next year (September 2010 – July 2011) and a full diary of the planned courses and application forms are available on this site.
